Wild Chair - Birch

Part of the Wild Chairs series, this version has a connection to the artist’s Celtic heritage with birch being a symbol of rebirth and renewal. Three editions of the birch chair have been made, with the most recent featuring a delicate addition of realistic moss to breath further life into the chair, exemplifying our relationship with wood as a living material. Two earlier editions were created for outdoor use and exhibited at the Stone Lane Gardens Sculpture Exhibition 2021, Dartmoor.
